Verisign announced they will be increasing the cost for registering .com domains. Due to the price increase, the cost to register a domain will increase to $18.00 per year. The price increase takes effect September 1, 2021.
Please note that, according to the agreement Verisign has with the government, they can increase the price 7% this year and for the next three years.
